21 towers, 5,000 condominium items to rise in Zamboanga del Sur

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur–The Zamboanga del Sur provincial authorities has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Division of Human Settlement and City Growth (DHSUD) to implement President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program (4PH).

DHSUD-IX Regional Director Roland Eta and Governor Victor Yu signed the MOU Thursday, with 1st District Consultant Divina Grace Yu, Provincial Human Useful resource Administration Officer Cherry Nodado and Provincial Planning and Growth Officer Roxanne Ruth Cedeño current.

The 4PH challenge will likely be located on an eight-hectare property owned by the provincial authorities in Purok Mahayahay, Barangay Dao.

Eta mentioned the challenge, geared toward addressing the nation’s 6.5-million-unit housing hole, is open to all homeless people, notably as a relocation website for casual settler households and people residing at risk zones.

The 4PH program plans to assemble 1 million housing items per 12 months till 2028.

Yu revealed that the preliminary plan for the Zamboanga del Sur challenge entails developing 21 ten-story towers comprising a complete of 5,000 items.

The design will embrace facilities equivalent to a business space, leisure amenities, and enterprise workplaces.

Eta defined that with the nationwide authorities’s subsidy, certified beneficiaries pays roughly ₱3,000 per 30 days per condominium unit for as much as 30 years by way of the Pag-IBIG Fund.
