A canine was shot and killed by LAPD officers after it bit somebody Tuesday morning at a homeless encampment within the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood of South Los Angeles, police mentioned.
Officers responded to a radio name about an individual being bit by a canine close to the intersection of Vermont Avenue and West seventieth Avenue at 10:24 a.m., in keeping with the Los Angeles Police Division. Police shot the canine, and it was declared lifeless on the scene, an LAPD spokesperson mentioned.
