MOSCOW — A Russian court docket prolonged the detention of Wall Road Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich for one more three months on Tuesday.

The American journalist faces unsubstantiated prices of espionage.

Tuesday’s ruling means Gershkovich will stay in pretrial detention in Moscow’s Lefortovo jail till not less than Aug. 30.

Gershkovich’s dad and mom traveled from the USA to Moscow and had been reportedly allowed to attend the closed court docket listening to.

Russian safety brokers detained Gershkovich whereas he was on a reporting project in Russia’s Ural mountains in March.

The Kremlin says the American was caught “red-handed,” however offered no proof.

Gershkovich and the Wall Road Journal vehemently reject the spying allegations — noting that Gershkovich was an accredited journalist working in Russia on the time of his detention.

The U.S. authorities has designated Gershkovich as “wrongfully detained” and demanded his fast launch.
