The Chicago White Sox recalled Jesse Scholtens on Monday and the right-hander is predicted to imagine a spot within the rotation

Scholtens, 29, will fill the roster spot of right-hander Mike Clevinger, who went on the injured record Sunday with proper wrist irritation.

Scholtens made two reduction appearances with the White Sox this season and delivered a 3.00 ERA in three innings. He made his main league debut April 7. In seven begins for Triple-A Charlotte in 2023, Scholtens is 2-2 with a 3.99 ERA
