Before going on vacation, GSC Game World released a small patch for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl . In it, the developers repaired an important element of the story mission and eliminated several critical errors.

Fixed a bug where an important character could disappear from the Energetik Culture Palace during the Road to the Foundation quest.
Added a temporary solution to avoid crashes when compiling shaders if the preparatory stage is skipped. Also managed to fix a number of other bugs that caused crashes.
Fixed an issue where axis invert settings would not persist after restarting the game.
Fixed a crash that caused loss of control after shooting, reloading, and then examining an artifact.
The team also reminded that they have come up with a solution so that users can restore their save files. They can be found in the corresponding folder .

The next update for STALKER 2 will appear in early 2025. Recall that the previous patch for the sequel introduced a huge number of changes to a number of components such as the A-Life system and performance.
